01About

I'm a full stack developer based in Romania. Most of the last decade I've worked on e-commerce: rebuilding front ends that had gotten slow, moving services onto managed cloud infrastructure, and keeping the running costs down while traffic grew.

I work in PHP and JavaScript on the product side, and with Docker, AWS and Terraform on the infrastructure side. I've mostly worked in small teams, which means owning a problem from the first commit through to production.

    • Rebuilt the storefront front end for faster loads; infrastructure spend came down as a side effect. TODO: quantify

    • Migrated object storage, transactional email, audit logs and internal file storage onto managed cloud services.

CNAIR — Self-Emitting Docs

A national web service for road hauliers: carriers enter a load, and it generates the AST transport authorisation as a QR-stamped PDF, emailed automatically and checked at the roadside.
